WHAT WE DO

HealthyHomes assists a family in delegating home chores, most specifically cooking and food preparation, to their domestic worker.

The idea is to train the domestic worker in basic meal preparations for all members of the family (parents, toddlers, babies) to allow for more free time in an otherwise busy daily schedule.

It is a ‘win-win’ situation - the domestic worker is upskilled in an area other than basic housework, the family has more time for themselves and their basic daily diets can be modified to allow for optimal healthy food intake.

To encourage a healthy family diet by ensuring all members of the family are eating a well-balanced, nutrient-rich meal plan.


To start from the very beginning with children having the correct outlook on food and mealtimes, ensuring they understand the importance of eating right.


To provide simple, tasty menu ideas which centre around health, free from preservatives and unnecessary additives.


By choosing nutritious, well thought-out and planned meals, we take away the need to purchase unhealthy, quick and easy, convenience foods and allow families, without any extra effort on their part, to practice the art of Slowfood.
HealthyHomes is not a full-on cooking course,
instead it aims to train your domestic worker to do all the tedious kitchen jobs that make cooking and preparing a healthy meal challenging and time-consuming.

HealthyHomes should not take away housework time from the domestic worker.

It assists them in learning to multitask.

While potatoes are roasting or a batch of vegetables are being steamed, a load of washing can be hung out to dry.

HealthyHomes
teaches simple meal preparations that don't take away too much time from the home chores environment.

Your domestic worker could learn to make homemade (freezable) burger patties, a jar of pesto or mayonnaise and a side salad.

All you need to do is defrost, grab a few rolls, assemble and enjoy.

Fill up your freezer with a supply of butternut, sweet potato and carrot puree or a batch of mashed “daily greens”, take out a few jars for the day and your baby’s meals are sorted.

Your fridge could be stocked with healthy snacks for your toddler to pop into their lunch boxes before the school rush begins.

Once you choose the package option you require, you will be directed to a questionnaire. This will help us to better understand your lifestyle in terms of meal preferences, food preparation, dietary requirements or allergy concerns. Each package’s meal options will be adjusted to suit your needs.

PACKAGE 1

​Family Basic 

PACKAGE COST:

This includes 3 training sessions of 2 hours each, done on separate days or all together depending on your preference.

Your domestic worker will learn to do basic preparations for breakfasts, lunches and dinners along with a side dish. She will learn to make a few condiments, set the table and prepare a healthy beverage to store in the fridge.

Child Basic

PACKAGE COST:

This includes 2 training sessions of 2.5 hours each, done on separate days or all together depending on your preference.

Your domestic worker will learn to do basic preparations for breakfasts and school or home lunches. She will learn to make snacks and healthy sweet treats which can be stored in the fridge or freezer, readily available for when your child feels like something to nibble on between meals. These snacks are great for filling a school lunch box.

Baby Basic

PACKAGE COST:

This includes 3 training sessions of 2 hours each, done on separate days or all together depending on your preference.

Your domestic worker will do freezable pureed meals of fruits, vegetables, grains and proteins, incorporating a lot of different herbs, spices and flavours. This is in accordance with new research to introduce a vast variety of tastes when starting solids, to try to ensure your baby becomes an adventurous rather than fussy eater.
